Top
Top squad is for the most able, capable and talented swimmers, who have the ability and dedication to compete at and above County Championship level. Training is focused on developing swimmers to very high standards in all areas, in line with British Swimming recommendations. Training includes stamina and sprint work, all at varying distances and takes place in the pool and the gym environment. Nutritional, psychological and tactical advice is also given.

Sergio Catania
Since my first lesson at the age of 7, I got bitten by a love for swimming. For 8 years I was in the pool, achieving county, regional and national qualifying times. Due to injuries I decided to turn my passion into a career in teaching and coaching, first in Sicily and then in the UK, as it gave me a great sense of achievement to help improve swimmers of all ages and abilities, both in and out of the water. In fact, I truly believe that swimming is not only a sport but a way of living that includes passion, determination and respect for yourself, your team mates and everyone. My motto therefore is EEE: Education, Enjoyment, Excellence.
